The submission and review of manuscripts is free of charge, but if your manuscript is accepted for publication, you are required to pay to cover the publication fee because the El-Kahfi journal is independently managed. The current APC is as follows:

IDR 400,000, -. for domestic (Indonesian) author

30 USD for the author abroad (outside Indonesia).

However, payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. Submissions are evaluated for their scientific merit and contribution to the field, not for the ability to pay. Authors who do not have the funds to cover the APC can request a full or partial waiver. Waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

By collecting APCs, we are able to make all articles immediately and freely accessible under an open access license, without restricting access only to subscribers. We believe that this allows for the widest possible dissemination of research findings. The APC enables us to cover publishing costs, including editorial work, production, on-line hosting, and archiving. This allows us to provide valuable publishing services to authors and ensure the sustainability of the journal.
